SNHU Week 3: Discussion Building a Schedule for Success
Good luck!...
When, where, or how are you most productive? How do you feel when you are productive versus busy? Is there a difference? Explain. 2. In contrast, we have all had times when we were really busy and yet, at the end of the day, we didn't feel like we got anything accomplished. Consider the Time Management Matrix, the reading, and the leadership video you watched this week in regard to prioritizing tasks. How will you prioritize your personal, academic, and/or professional responsibilities in order to be productive in your role as a student? Explain. For example: Are there urgent, unimportant tasks you can move off your schedule? Please note: You can use this response to help you identify the black holes for your final project. 3. Both Paul LeBlanc and Greg Fowler were featured this week. What other message around time management from the video connected with you? Why?
I am the utmost productive when I realize I am on my way to bliss. My days are Productive when I undertake, where I get to grasp the energy from my time consumed donating to the delight of others or working for my goals. One of these is how I just transformed my extra room into a home office to commit my time as a student effectively. My professional experiences have taught me to always be mindful of which tasks I have to prioritize and consider my time professionally. One way I love to track my time is by using my email calendar. I feel like this step doesn’t only keep me organize but it also makes me aware on things the are most important and need my attention urgently. I feel so accomplished and confident once the day comes to an end. Paul LeBlanc said, “for me, writing is a way of organizing my own thinking.” I could not agree more with his statement. By starting to write my plans, goals, meetings & blocking time out to do specific tasks; I can keep track of the things I have to prioritize. When doing this, I can learn where my time is going. I believe his statement will help me by prioritizing my personal responsibilities now. The first step has been taken all I have to do now is make sure to follow the plan. I can say that I am ready and focus on my academic responsibilities. Therefore, I will make sure to apply this
strategi to write a to do list morning and make the best of my days by not being busy but more productive....
