Violence against Women The social issue I will be conducting research on is Violence against Women. As much as I know about this topic, it is major problem in the Indian or Pakistani cultures since rape or “honor killings” is mainly the issue. This issue concerns me because in cultures or countries where women are abused in many different ways is very upsetting and needs to come to an end. Also, this issue concerns me because women are not getting the freedom they deserve, men are controlling the women in their household by confining them into the house or beating them for no good reason, even murdering them to maintain their reputation within the community and family. Domestic violence relates to both my personal and professional life because of what I have witnessed in my previous workplace and within family members. There are questions I would like answered on why men commit this offense? When will women be considered humans and not punching bags? The list of questions I would like answered goes on. The framework I will be using in my analysis is Social (Systemic) Issue....
