Teacher facilitates revision based on what the students have learned previously. Ask students to group in three and discuss their summaries.
Each student will gather in groups and share their ideas. Then tells teachers what they have discussed.
Teacher begins to scaffold the chapter summary on the whiteboard.
Students volunteer to present their opinions/thinking.

Teacher briefly instruct today’s lesson outline.
9:22 – 9:50 Reading
Teacher then ask students to take turn and read p42-56
Each student read 23 sentences.
9:50 – 10:00 Chapter 2 Summary & Vocab Activity
Teacher open-up the class discussion where students could present their opinions/thinking on the chapter 2 and important vocab.
Students volunteer to present their opinions.
10:00 – 10:10 Chapter 2 Reading Activity
Teacher ask students to work on Chapter 2 question activity in pairs or in groups.
Students perform the task in a fixed sequence.
Teacher go around each pair/group and help and record the students’ progress, helping the struggling students. 10:10
Teacher wraps up the lesson and check students’ progression.
