Introduction: Human resources nowadays considered as the key of success for every organization seeks for success and deals with human resources as an asset not a cost. We can see this clear in leading organizations that grew fast over the entire world by considering human resources and managing people efficiently and effectively by bringing experts in the field of human resources management to set plans and strategies for long and short term. Explain the role of Human Resource Management in organizations today. Which competencies do you consider core for your organization and why? There are several roles for human resources management in the organization today: Firstly: the strategic role: The human resources management team suggests to the management team how to strategically manage people as business resources (Audra Bianca, 2019). Meaning that human resource management set plans and strategies and assist managers in the process of hiring and appointing the right people in the right places Secondly: developing skills for the future: this will be accomplished by developing their skills and detect those skills, then advising managers to assign the appropriate jobs for their employees accordingly. Thirdly, building loyalty and commitment to the organization: HR professionals also suggest strategies for increasing employee commitment to the organization (Audra Bianca, 2019), but I think this will not be achieved unless the employee becomes satisfy with his position, therefore, it is HRM responsibility to ensure that the said employee has been hired in an appropriate job according to his academic qualifications and professional experience. Finally: Human resource management requires strategic planning to address not only the changing needs of an employer but also a constantly shifting competitive job market (Audra Bianca, 2019)

In the organization I currently work for, human resource management should consider the competency of the strategic role in hiring employees, but due to the rules of labor office they will

not be able to hire employees according to their qualifications, instead, in Saudi Arabia where I stay and work, all HRM in private sector enforced to hire a specific percentage of Saudis and dismiss foreigners from specific jobs, therefore, HRM does not apply their strategies freely since they are restricted in their policies and plans.

Which core competencies do you anticipating needing tomorrow? Due to the revolution of internet and communication as a whole, communication skill is very important core competency and managers are required to develop employee’s communication skills in order to perform their jobs properly. Human resources management is concerned with this issue and we can say that great human resources managers are great communicators. Not only do they possess this competency, but they are able to help others communicate thoughts and ideas more effectively Could these competencies change? Why? The listed core competencies such as breadth of awareness, effective communication, decisiveness, team working, effective judgment, derive and persistence, sensitivity towards others, confidence and flexibility (Senyucel, Z 2009), these competencies cannot be changed but it can be developed, the reason for not changing these competencies that it looks like psychological characters. HRM role is to develop these competencies not changing them according to the need

of every department, for example, employees working in customer services require improving their communication skills and sole of team working.

How do Human Resources functions evolve to stay viable within organizations? The role of HRM in organizations today is more important than before due to the developing technology, revolution of communication and globalization, therefore, HRM required to evolve its functions so as to stay viable within organization. HRM should has its own strategy “HR Strategy is the links between human resource function with the strategic objectives of the organization in order to improve long term performance (Management Consulting) HRM required to develop the organizational model , design organization culture and develop the way of recruiting and hiring employees in the organization. In addition to that HRM should consider the role of social responsibility” Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce (Management Consulting) Finally, HRM should act as the link between organization departments and participates in performing works and tasks effectively.
