“ANG PROBINSYANO” “Ang Probinsyano” is a television series directed by Malu Sevilla, Avel Sunpongco and Toto Natividad. The main character of the series is Cardo, acted by Coco Martin, and his role is to find the criminals involved in the different issues in the society. This series tells us about the social injustice that we are experiencing today such as drug problems and murder cases. The story revolves around the lives of the twins namely Ador de Leon and Cardo de Leon. Due to financial problems, both got separated from each other even until they had passed through the path of being police officers. Ador was betrayed by a fellow cop and soon got killed in a drug bust operation. While his twin brother, Cardo, takes his identity to take revenge against the drug syndicate and the corrupt policemen who killed Ador and seek justice for his brother’s death. Then, Cardo enjoyed the life in the province as an SAF Trooper. Also, he professed to his family and friends and he reconciled with his grandmother, whom he begrudged. For concluding immediately, she abandoned him. Later, he had gone into a lot of challenges and he swears to look for the killer behind his brother’s death. “Ang Probinsyano” is a strong start for an advocacy show whose intention would seemingly go to as far as changing the nation. The aspects of the work that made us think that it is a success in the “Ang Probinsyano” is that the leading star, Coco Martin, disguised himself as Paloma, a lady with pretty figure and aura, to catch Ella and his entourage in their illegal work to gather relevant information and evidences he needed. He must be acquainted with Ella and be part of their plan; as he discovers the truth, he then planned and managed an entrapment operation. Later, Ella and the rest of his minions are penalized for the crimes they committed. After all the incidents and chaos that have happened, the question remains unanswered. Did Ella and his team change their way of living and apply what they have learned in the certain incident they were involved with? He is technically guilty for committing a crime because he entered a risky situation by joining a drug syndicate in order to gather sufficient information. He is a police with intentions to cleanse the criminality omnipresent in the community. However, irony is present in his actions because he linked himself to an unlawful group in order to solve the case he is handling. In ethics, this particular behavior is acceptable. But, in a broad sense and analytical sense, you can’t fight fire with fire. Cardo, as a police in the TV Series, acts his job very well and he believes that a certain thing should be done in an accurate process. He does his job with integrity and follows the path to righteousness. Being a policeman is not an easy job, we do believe in that because we can see in our point of view that these people have risky and perilous profession. On the other hand, they have the authority in a particular community. They maintain peace and order, give actions to the law, protects members of the community and property, and they reduce crimes and improve the high standards of living in a society.

While watching the TV Series, the thing that has caught our attention is the story lines and plot twist that were revived by the characters. They have shown a realistic situation where in the events happen in real life. For example, the scams operated by a poor person. That specific person used the information from the internet from social media accounts like Facebook. His goal is to extort money from his victim using the information stolen from the account. The popular TV series, “Ang Probinsyano,” has shown an exact epitome of crisis and crimes that the Philippines is having nowadays. The latter serves as a lesson that indicates the distinct problems that policemen are facing. Therefore, the show exhibits a vivid picture of the actions done by the lawmakers of the society and government in order to purify the wrong-doers and vigilantes....
