Course Description : A comprehensive study of plant, emphasizing the principles and concepts of plant life and an appreciative understanding of the environment and of the part of human beings in modifying it. 4. Pre – Requisite : None 5. Co – Requisite : None 6. Credit : 3 units lecture and 2.75 units laboratory 7. Class lecture/laboratory schedule : 3 hours lecture and 3 hours of laboratory per week (1 semester) 8. Course Learning Outcomes(CLO) : CLO 1 CLO CLO CLO CLO

Understanding the most significant facts about plants from the great body of knowledge that biologists have accumulated. Acquaint the students with the basic knowledge and skills in the use of scientific instruments. Stimulate appreciation, beauty and usefulness of plants in daily living. Introduce to the students the mechanics of research and scientific method in acquiring facts. Develop critical thinking, resourcefulness and creativity that the students can use in their daily lives.
