EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Raub Steakhouse serves western food that are mainly meat dishes and services for customers, providing the variety meats that are high quality that will satisfy customers. The business is lead only by the general manager. Currently, there are 4 other managers excluding the general manager, which are the financial manager, operating manager, marketing manager and the administrating manager. These people are working as business partners. Raub Steakhouse provides a place where working people, families and students from UiTM Raub can enjoy great quality steaks with a variety of choices. We provide catering service, free internet access, venues for events, table reservations and value sets that will surely attract customers. The location of one’s restaurant is important as it can affect many aspects of one’s business. We chose Bandar Raub as the location of our restaurant because there is no other steakhouse located in Bandar Raub. Being the only steakhouse in Raub could be a big attraction to our customers thus boost our sales. Besides that, we find that the people in Bandar Raub are family oriented. Our steakhouse offers fine dining for our customers who wants to spend their quality time with their family. All activities in this operation will be according to plan so that it will meet our customers’ satisfaction. We offer quality meat that are reasonable in price that meet our customers’ high expectation. We provide prior appointments to our customers who do not want to wait for a very long time. Raub Steakhouse vision is to be only of the best restaurant that providing the best quality and tasteful meat that satisfy customer need. Our first mission is to make sure that our business grows bigger and expand our business by opening new branch in various location.

1. Introduction 1.1. Name of the Business Our company’s name is Steak House and we will using Raub Steakhouse as our business name. We are providing the Steak, juice water, dish and focusing in Raub Town, Pahang. We will registered our company on 07/01/2019.

1.2. Nature of Business Our main activity is service. Our business is provide steaks for those who want to feel something different on the steak. Raub Steak House will operated in the double story shop which is completed with private celebration room.

1.3. Industry Profile By serving the great steak, it will makes people feel how great the taste of original steak with pure herbs. 1.4. Location of the business Our business is located in Pusat Perniagaan Raub, Bandar Raub.

1.5. Date of business commencement We have registered our company on 9th January 2019. Our business start to move on 14th January 2019 and this date are same as our company date of commencement.

1.6. Factors in Selecting the Proposed Business

We chose Raub Steakhouse, mainly because the business has the biggest opportunity on future development. This steakhouse will be the only available steakhouse in Bandar Raub that serve a variety of meats. Besides that, the concept of our steakhouse has a high chance to be the trendsetter in the future as they will keep on receiving good recognition from customers. Eventhough the price is considered expensive to certain people, the price is reasonable for the food quality. Financially, we believe we can maintain revenue from our restaurant since there will be many customers.

As for the future prospects, we plan to collaborate with popular online businesses such as Shoppee to promote our restaurant. Customers of Shoppee will be exposed to our restaurant by giving them our restaurant vouchers through Shoppee. We also plan to expand our restaurant by buying lots next to the restaurant. By this we can serve more customers, which will solve the crowd problem. Through this, we can also improve our facilities. Lastly, we plan to make our restaurant an ordering system. Customers can browse the restaurant’s menu in the monitor that will be provided for each table and place their orders.

6.3 Target market We have chosen Raub as the population of our business location base which is basically a small town with a small number of population but shows a huge potential. After conducting some research, we estimated that there are around 40,024 people in Raub. The location is strategic because the town was built and people are starting to get interested in steaks, so we have an opportunity to satisfy their cravings for steaks. In addition, in this town, this service has not been done by other entrepreneurs yet. So, it will give advantages for us to provide our best services to customers.

6.4 Market size 6.4.1

Population

The target market of our business is targeted to working people, families and students who likes to eat western food. We also have identified our target market in Raub, Pahang. With 40, 024 population in Raub, we assume 50% of the population are working people, families and students who likes to eat western food.
