CONSIDERATIONS
Nursing Interventions (pre, intra, post) PRE: Explain the procedure. INTRA: Properly preform the procedure. POST: Provide information on results obtained to the client.
Interpretation of Findings A positive result means there is bacteria or yeast in the blood sample. A negative result means there are no signs of either.
Client Education What the test is for or why it is being preformed. What the test involves and how to prepare for the test. What the results of the test indicate and how that effects the client.
