FRANCISCO, JUSTINE REIN A. BSA II-13 ACTIVITY/EVALUATION Activity 5. 1a Instructions: Make your caricature depicting any present political, economic, or cultural situation in the Philippines. Provide a short explanation for the symbolism that you used. In not more than five sentences. (5 points)

EXPLANATION: Here is an caricature wherein represents poor majority who suffers from the effects of corruption instead of allocating the funds for the welfare of our countrymen. Next is calamities (such as Covid 19 pandemic and typhoons) which also makes not just the poor majority suffers but without the proper address of the government. Lastly, the power hike which illustrates that the poor majority stays at their pace without improvements and moving. Not just because some are slacker, but also because, this country lacks of job opportunity.

(5 points) 1. “Gratitude towards Americans” -It signifies how thankful President Aquino was towards the americans for helping this country regain its freedom and for restoring the government against marcos regime. 2. “Talked about her husband, Ninoy Aquino’s death.” - She began her speech with this statement.It signifies the character,convection, and resolveness in opposing the authoritarianism of marcos. She also signifies how Ninoy survived the first detention, which he was charged with subversion, murder and other crimes. 3. “$26 Billion debt of Marcos” -It signifies that Philippines has debt over $26 billion and decided to honor those debts despite mentioning that the citizens doesn’t really benefit from it and that Philippines were deprived of settling those debts within our capacity....
