Description

HIS 100 4-2 Short Response: Research Plan Preparation Worksheet Prompt: Applying what you learned about narrowing research questions, revise your research questions from your Topic Exploration Worksheet. In the tables below, list the original question, the revised version of that question, and one to two sentences explaining how you approached your revisions for that question to give your instructor insight on your revision process. Then, answer the question about your primary sources below the tables. Research Question 1: Original Question How did the South African apartheid affect the mental health of their citizens?

Revised Question how was women's mental health affected during the apartheid in

South Africa? Write 1-2 sentences explaining how you approached your revisions for the question above. I used the interactive mind mapping resource link you made available to us. And I felt like I should narrow down my search to specifically women rather than the whole country.

Research Question 2: Original Question How did the South African apartheid affect the economy?

Revised Question how has the economy been affected in South Africa during the

apartheid? Write 1-2 sentences explaining how you approached your revisions for the question above. I also used the interactive mind mapping resource for this question too. I didn’t really feel like much needed to be changed besides the wording of the question.

There were also different factors that applied to their early suicidality. Such as their race, gender, where they lived as a child and where they lived as an adult, their adult family income. These different factors lead to different outcomes of early suicidality, for example, living in urban areas both as a child and as a adult had both high early suicidality rates than those in rural areas. 2. Name of primary source: “South African Economy During and After the Apartheid Era: What’s the Difference?” Author: N/A Hyperlink: https://blogs.elon.edu/sasa/2017/01/23/south-african-economy-during-and-after-the-apartheid-era-whats-the-difference/ What this source adds to your understanding of your selected topic: It explains the effects of the apartheid. How the rate of unemployment had risen. Men struggled with working and could barely work more than two days weekly. Older children even had to drop out of school to try and find work to provide income for their family. People closer to the cities such as the whites, as the article said, benefited most while the blacks struggled to work....
