Therapeutic Use Used to prevent spasms of the urinary tract associated with neurogenic bladder.

Contraindications/Precautions Hypersensativity, uncontrolled angle-closure glaucoma, Intestinal obstruction or urinary retention. use caution with hepatic and renal insuficiencies.
Medication Administration PO 5mg 2-3 times daily starting to max dosage of 30 mg/day
Nursing Interventions Monitor I&O and voiding patterns. Monitor for dystention. Catheterization used to assess post void residuals
