Dally helps Ponyboy and Johnny by giving them a gun and money to live off of and told them to go stay at an abandoned church until things calm down. One day when Dally goes to pick them up as they left school kids went in there and accidently caught the building on fire, the three boys go back to rescue the kids. They saved all of them but the roof collapsed and Ponyboy was unconscious, Johnny broke his back, and Dally was not badly hurt. 3. The Greasers verse the Socs in a rumble and win, Dally escaped from the hospital to go to the rumble. Conclusion A. Review: 1. Sodapop tells Ponyboy he is tired of him fighting Darry all the time and dealing with so much tension at home. Finally understanding the value of their family Ponyboy decides to not fight anymore. The brothers want to remember Dally and Johnny’s death without pain or denial. 2. Ponyboy decides to use the novel the reader just read as his term paper for his English class.
B. Final Memorable Statement: 1. ‘’There isn’t any real good reason for fighting, except self-defense.’’...
