CLIMATE CHANGE Over time, our planet has been affected and damaged by human beings in a very cruel way, and apart from this, it directly hurts us. The issue of pollution has always been one of the most serious problems that many people give ways to solve it, but no one contributes or moves a finger to make a difference and try to change it. This problem not only affects us humans, but also animals, as well as them and their habitats, plants as well as our main source of oxygen. Due to more floods and droughts, climate change has brought serious problems to the global water system. Warm air can hold higher humidity, making rain patterns more extreme. Rivers and lakes provide drinking water for humans and animals and are important resources for agriculture and industry. Drainage, dredging, damming, pollution, extraction, sedimentation, and invasive species have put enormous pressures on the global freshwater environment. Climate change will only exacerbate the problem and make the situation worse. Extreme droughts and floods will become more common, leading to displacement and conflict. In mountainous areas, the melting of glaciers is affecting freshwater ecosystems. The glaciers of the Himalayas provide water to major rivers in Asia, such as the Yangtze, Yellow, Ganges, Mekong, and Indus. More than a billion people depend on these glaciers for drinking water, sanitation, agriculture, and hydroelectric power. “As species are exterminated by shifting climate zones, ecosystems can collapse, destroying more species” James Hansen said. In my opinion, the world right now is in a very serious problem that if we start to solve it or make a change it will get worse and, in the future, our next generations will be the ones that will be affected by our actions....
