Me gusta más estudiar inglés que alemán. Fíjate la estructura con "prefer" utiliza "to" para comparar y la estructura con "rather" utiliza "than". I would rather have a beer. Preferiría tomar una cerveza. I prefer to have a beer. Preferiría tomar una cerveza. El verbo que sigue a "would rather" va SIN "to". El que sigue a "prefer" va CON "to".

Cambiar adjetivos de significados puestos. He is dead. Él está muerto. He isn't alive. Él no está vivo.

Cambiar adverbios de significados opuestos. The hotel isn't near my house. El hotel no está cerca de mi casa. The hotel is far from my house. El hotel está lejos de mi casa.

Some- Any- Much- Many- Few- Little- Too- Enough There aren't many people in the room. No hay mucha gente en la habitación. There are few people in the room. Hay poca gente en la habitación. "Not many" es igual que "few".

Present Perfect vs. Past Tense They've been married for 5 years. Llevan 5 años casados. They married 5 years ago. Se casaron hace 5 años.

Pasar de forma activa a pasiva y viceversa. The police caught the thief. La policía cogió al ladrón. The thief was caught by the police. El ladrón fue cogido por la policía.
