No pudo entrar--Si hubiera traído su DNI, hubiera podido entrar IMPORTANTE: Repasar la hoja de los condicionales para ver qué sentido tiene la frase (Repasar con página 76) Es muy probable que en la primera frase, que tienes que convertir, pongan un conector como los de “unir dos oraciones con conectores” anterior. EJEMPLOS: -I don’t have a bicycle so I can’t bike to work If I... had a bicycle I could bike to work Traducción: No tengo una bicicleta entonces, No puedo ir en bicicleta al trabajo Si tuviera una bicicleta podría ir al trabajo (En está frase se pone en segundo condicional por que en el presente no tiene una bicicleta y habla de la situación imaginaria de tener una bicicleta y las frases de segundo condicional se usan en situaciones imaginarias en presente o futuro) -You’ve put on so much weight because you have been eating a lot of sugary food lately. If you...hadn’t been eating so much sugary food lately, you wouldn’t have put on so much weight. Unless sustituiría a “If (alguién) don’t”, entonces en vez de “If he doesn’t phone..” (Si no llama) “Unless he phones” (A no ser que llame) ESTRUCTURA: Unless + sujeto + verbo afirmativo + … EJEMPLOS: -If you don’t take care of those shoes, they won’t last for long.
