I would describe Blake Mycoskie’s leadership style as transformational. I would say he is a charismatic leader because a charismatic leader is “an enthusiastic, self-confident leader who is able to clearly communicate his or her vision of how good things could be” (Jones & George 2020); an example of this is that “he shares things that inspire him, like an amazing article he read in a magazine or about an issue that they should challenge themselves” (Schweitzer, 20210). A source of power that Mycoskie has is referent power. Blake Mycoskie motivate his followers by giving them participation in the meetings, also he shares time with the employees outsid the office.
