Lesson plan...
EDU 292 Morgan Sauder Zentangle Landscape Unit: Mixed Media Lesson: Zentangles are a line or shape that is repeated over and over again. Make sure your picture includes a foreground, middle ground, and a background. The foreground should be bigger more detailed, while the background is more simple. The middle ground should fall somewhere in between. Don’t feel like you need to overcomplicate your landscape. Keep it simple. Procedure: One a piece of paper, draw a landscape picture with a foreground, middle ground, and a background. Make sure you first draw with a pencil and then when you’re happy with your drawing go over it with a sharpie. Once you have finished that, you will start drawing your zentangles within the lines of your landscape. Draw zentangles with water based colors, and use various colors to add variation to your piece. Once you have finished drawing your zentangles, go over each section with water. This will create a water color effect! Materials:
Printer paper
Pencil
Sharpie
Washable Markers
Paint brush
Water
Ruler optional
Evaluation:
Did you write your name on the back of the paper?
Did you create a landscape with a foreground, middle ground, and background?
Did you create zentangles?
Did you clean up after yourself?...
