Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am from Oklahoma. I am pursuing my degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. I work full-time as a Legal Assistant/Office Manager for 3 attorneys. I am the Mom of the Year to two kids, ages 25 (son) and 12 (daughter), and a Lolli to two grand-girls, ages 6 and 4. I am also a Dog Mom to two Pit Bulls, Lucinda and Molly. I use Word daily personally, professionally, and educationally. (The legal pleadings at work are done via WordPerfect.) I use Word in many different ways whether it is to draft business/client letters, take notes in a meeting, type my Discussion posts, or put together a study sheet for my daughter’s Geography test. Throughout this course I hope to become more proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office. Excel is my favorite program and probably one I use more than all the others. I feel like I use Word well at this point but look forward to doing a deeper dive and finding resources for making both my work and personal lives a tad simpler. We have many great templates set up on our WordPerfect that help to cut down time on constantly recreating documents, and I am ready to find and employ time-saving templates to be used in Word as well....
