OBSERVE 1. As you observe the class, look into the characteristics of the learners. Note their ages.  Some of the students are noisy while the teacher is discussing their lesson but most of the students are listening. They are 5-6 years old. 2. How many boys are there?  There are 8 boys and 19 girls. 3. Focus on their behavior. Are they already able to manage their own behavior?  Most of the students can manage their behavior but some of them cannot control their noise. 4. Can the learners already work independently?  Most of the students are still depending their answers on their seatmates. 5. Describe their span of attention.  The students exert more patience especially when their teacher is discussing their lesson. ANALYZE 1. There areas in the classroom for specific purposes (storage of teaching aids, students' belongings, supplies, etc.)? Describe these areas. Will it make a difference if areas for specific purposes are not present?  There are some books located at the back and at the side and they are arranged properly for it has its own cabinet. They also have chalk box in the front beside the table. I think that it will make difference if specific purposes are not present because the just like cabinets, it was very important to store different teaching materials properly to avoid misplacements or messiness. 2. Are there rules and procedures posted in the room? List them down. Do these rules positive behavior?  Yes, these rules are positive behavior. - Makinig sa nagsasalita. Itaas ang kamay kung may nais sabihin. - Iwasan ang laging pagtayo sa klase. - Ingatan ang mga gamit sa silid-aralan. - Gumawa ng tahimik at wag mang istorbo ng katabi. - Maging magalang sa lahat ng oras. Gumamit ng Po at Opo. - Maging maingat, mabait, matapat at palakaibigan sa lahat. 3. Did the students participate in making the classroom rules? If the Resource Teacher available, ask him/her to describe the process. What's the effect of students' participation in rule-making on student's behavior? - The resource teacher said that most of the students are following the rules but some of the students are not. For those who are not following the rules based on her, she gave positive punishment for those students. 4. What are the daily routines done by the Resource Teacher? (prayer, attendance, assignment of monitors, warm-up activities, etc.) How are they done? - The teacher started the classes by opening a prayer that is done by the prayer leader, to be followed by greetings from the teacher and the students. Next is the attendance that is reported by the group leaders and the discussion part

-

5. Is there a seating arrangement? What is the basis of this arrangement? Does this help in managing the class? - The students are seated by groups and alphabetically and they are alternate boys and girls. For me, yes, seating arrangement help managing the class specially to avoid noise during the class. 6. Observe the noise level in the classroom. How is this managed? - While the teacher is discussing, there are only soft noise come from the students because most of the students are listening. 7. If a learner is not following instruction or is off-task, what does the Resource Teacher do? Describe the behavior strategies used. - While the teacher is discussing and the students is too noisy, she will stop the discussion and after a few seconds the students are quiet. 8. What does the Resource Teacher do to reinforce positive behaviors? (Behavior strategies) The teacher reinforces the learners by giving positive feedback to student’s answers. REFLECTION Reflection as a future teacher. 1. Why do you need to enforce positive discipline? - As a future teacher, I need to enforce positive discipline to build a learning t the student. With that, student/learners will be responsible enough with regards to their performances in school and as a result, a positive outcome such as topping the class will pay-off the hardship of every learner.

OBSERVE My answers were based on the opinions of my resource teacher since we cannot observe and engaged to face-to-face learning because of the pandemic. My resource teacher stated that, I noticed their differences in abilities. There are pupils who were smart or the high achievers in their class and there are also slow learners or the low achievers in the class. I have noticed or recognized a group of pupils whom I prefer to be the smart one. They are the one who always raised their hands every time the teacher asked a question. And they can answer it correctly most of the time. They perform very well in the class. On the other side, there are also group of students who were low achievers. They are mostly confident in raising their hands even though their answers were wrong. Luckily, those high achievers always tried to help them with the correct answer. As I asked the teacher about the background of these students, I learned that those high achievers’ pupils came from a well-earned family while the low learners or achievers their family, most of them are less- fortunate and their parents are not fully supportive in terms of giving attention. The high achieving learners usually are the one who finish first during the class activities. They have good interactions with their teachers. They can answer the question easily. While the low learners they always doubted their answers for they are afraid of getting wrong. The teacher knows on how to encourage the student on how to answer the given questions that needs further clarification . CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT MATRIX

ANALYZE 1. How did the classroom organization and routines affect the learners' behavior? - The learners become more responsible and discipline and they act accordingly. They also set boundaries to focus on their studies and to have more productive school days 2. What should the teacher have in mind when she/he designs the classroom organization and routines? What theories and principles should you have in mind? - The teacher should consider things like protecting and leveraging time. The teacher should consider the development of the learners in order for them to reach their set objectives. 3. Which behavior strategies were effective in managing the behavior of the learners? In motivating students? Why were they effective? - Building relationships and developing social skills to learners are the most effective, you are not just being friendly to each other but also you are communicating with self- respect and self-discipline.

REFLECT Reflect on the following and write your insights. 1. Imagine yourself organizing your classroom in the future. In what grade year level do you see yourself? What routines and procedures would you consider for this level. Why? - Picturing myself in the future, I want to be in a grade level that enhances their knowledge-to develop more their knowledge because they are now entering the reality as a learner. This level is grade four. The routines and procedures I want to consider are the following: practice the proper action inside the classroom, but in order for me to achieve this, these routines and procedures should plan well and afterwards, it must be strictly implemented. 2. Make a list of the rules you are likely to implement in this level. Why would you choose these rules? The rules I want to implement in grade four are the following: - Practice proper hygiene not just at home but also in school - Time management- they should set boundaries, time to study, time to play and time to be serious. - Since they are already in grade four, a thirty-minutes reading habit will be strictly implemented. - I choose these rules for them to have a self-discipline so, to focus on their studies. 3. Should learners be involved in making the class rules? Why? - Yes, I believe. It is for them to prove that they can withstand their statements and to see if the respect to themselves is embedded unto them. And they should also be aware of these rules so that they will know their limitations about their actions in the classroom. Also, the teacher should know the students thought about the rules that will be implemented. Link Theory to Practice
