Course syllabus

To find the course syllabus I click on my current class, I navigate to “the to do this week” I can move left or right through the carousel or I can just click on see full syllabus for a more detailed one.

I print out the whole syllabus and go through it so I know how much I need to work on every section of it. I make sure I complete everything on time by checking or marking my completed assignments.

Academic policies

The academic policies section is located to the right of the classroom homepage.

I can use this section to complete all my assignments on time during the weekly basis, Tuesday to Monday. I can also use this section as a reference in case I can’t make it to class for a reason.

Instructor policies

The instructor policies section is located to the right of the classroom homepage under “Academic Policies”

Instructor policies help you understand what your instructor expects from you.

University Academic Catalog

Click on program once you are logged in, scroll to the bottom right hand side under “order transcripts”

This section provides you with the program purpose of your studies, the program student learning outcomes, degree competition requirement, this section gives me all the information I need in regards to the course I will be taking.

PhoenixConnect

Click on the upper “phoenix connect tab” type your questions, comments, suggestions, under the community “activity box”

I can use this section to ask any questions pertaining to course issues, anything school related.

University Library

Click the upper “library” tab and it takes you to a search

Center for Writing Excellence

At the bottom of the student home page, under “library” click “center for writing excellence”

This is probably one of the resources I will be using the most, since I have been out of school for quite a while. I forgot some of the rules on how to write a paper. So, I am looking forward to using this awesome service.

If you’re on the home page, scroll down to the bottom left and click on student store.

I can buy myself a shirt and represent the college I belong to on college spirit day. Once a Phoenix, always a Phoenix! I can also buy graduation gear in case I decide to attend graduation, I can buy learning resources with the Phoenix logo to keep me motivated with my studies.

University marketplace is on the left side on the student home website,

It helps with saving money, earn cashback.

Life Resource Center

This section gives you feedback on everyday situations, it offers counseling, I can use this if I ever happen to have an emotional breakdown or I need any extra support that my family can’t provide.

Phoenix Career Services

Student home screen, click on careers tab.

This can help me prepare when searching for a job, preparing myself to land the job of my dreams.

Student Workshops

Under quick links, click “student workshops”

The student workshop provides me with techniques that help me in my academic development and also on my personal skills.

Technical Support Phone Number

Scroll to the very bottom of your student home page and look for the tiny letters, click on help, takes you a search box, look under “hot topics” click on “contacting technical support”

This section explains a step by step on how to contact technical support via telephone or email. Helpful when having issues with the website.
