ETHICS AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR LAW STUDENTS (CORR 3303) -G4 Instructions for Exam

1.

Exam date: Friday, 24 April 2020

2.

Time and duration - 8.25 am – 10.35 am. The exam will start at 8.25 am and last for 2 hours and 10 minutes.

3.

Organisation of Exam Paper i. The Exam Paper contains a total of THREE (3) questions and comprises of four (4) pages including the instruction sheet at page 1. ii. You are required to answer two (2) out of the three (3) questions.

4.

Release of Exam Paper- The Exam Paper will be released at 8.25 am via email.

5.

Answer Format i. Please include the following information at the beginning of your answer: COR 3303 Student ID : XXXXX ii.

You must type your answers in a Microsoft Word document using Time New Roman font size 12.

iii.

Please save the file under the following file name: COR 3303 (Student ID number XXXXX) For example, if your student number is A 0123456, then the file name of your answer will be: COR 3303 (A 0123456) Please do not use special characters in the file name as it will make it difficult to upload on Assignments tab on elearn.

iv. Do not use footnotes or endnotes in your answer. a.

Please remember to save your answers regularly and enable the autosave function where applicable.

Submission of Answers Your answer paper must be submitted via the "Assignments" tab on the eLearn platform titled “FINAL EXAM” folder by 10.35 a.m. Take note that late submissions will not be entertained. It will be rejected by the system past 10.35 a.m.

Limits on Word Count Please note a word limit applies to answers given to each question. Your answer to each question must not exceed 2000 words.

8.

Communication with Instructor During the exam, you may contact your instructor via Webex ( URL id: https://smu-sg.webex.com/meet/rathnakoman. It is the same URL id as when classes were conducted via Webex) if you should encounter any technical difficulty or require clarifications on the exam question.

9.

Declaration of Originality You are required to make a declaration on eLearn confirming that your submission is original and that you have complied with the SMU Code of Academic Integrity. Hence your submission will not be graded unless I have received your declaration for COR 3303. This form can be accessed via the “quizzes” tab on elearn. You only need to tick the box to indicate agreement. Breaches of the SMU Code of Academic Integrity will be sanctioned. Your submission will be checked by Turnitin for plagiarism....
