Introductory Speech Outline INTRODUCTION I. Do public speaking abilities help make a path to a successful career? II. Many Americans believe this to be true for a young man who spoke his way into leading America in 2008 for the next four years. III. This man’s communication skills can not only inspire his audience, but also instill confidence among them. Transitional Statement: A great speaker has the capability to inspire. BODY I. Inspire your audience A. Speaks of stability 1. Catches audience’s attention with inspiration Connects with audience using a humanistic approach 2. Story telling keeps audience listening II.
This man uses a unique but powerful and moving technique A. Reveals his personality 1. He is honest when speaking. 2. He is clear on his views of different controversial issues. B. Reveals that he is clever, yet calm 1. He uses catchy statements. 2. Stays calm while speaking, instilling that he is the stable choice.
Transition Statement: This man is very passionate about his job, and his role as leader of a nation. CONCLUSION I. Signal the close of the speech II. Being a good communicator means inspiring your audience with your words and your actions. Also, giving your audience the confidence they need to believe that you are suitable for leading their country makes you a good communicator. I. Can the words of one person truly encourage and inspire a nation to believe in stability?
