Maggie Mallicote In this module, I learned more about different arguments to prove God’s existence. Some of the many arguments I learned were the argument of design, cause and effect, desire, miracles, morality, and Pascal’s wager. These arguments helped me in my defending of God’s existence to others who may not believe in Him. For example, if someone stated, “you just made Him up because you wanted answers about the universe,” I could easily reply using the argument of desire. I could reply with something along the lines of, “We are not all-knowing like God is. So why would we “make up” God just so we know the same amount of information?” This module deepened my understanding of God’s existence so I can successfully defend Him....
