: the author of this novel is Ann Leckie who is an American author from Toledo, Ohio but grew up in Missouri, who particularly specializes in science fiction and fantasy novels. She has a music major from the university of Washington in 1989 and she worked as a waitress, receptionist, and sound technician. She stayed hoke after the birth of her children. The writing of the book is a series of novels where the author uses her imagination to write a novel about a entire new universes called ancillary universe. Critics say they loved this book a lot and have re read it several times because they loved it so much. According to Genevieve Valentine, writing for NPR, the "assured, gripping and stylish" novel succeeded both on the large and on the small scale, as the tale of an empire and as a character study. These novels earned her notable awards such as the Hugo award, Nebula award and many more.

Characters : the novel ancillary justice follows 2 plot line for most of the novel. And most of the novel revolves around the main character Breq who seeks justice. Secondary characters are lieutenant Awn who is the commander of the ship and Anaander Mianaai who is the lord of the empire. Another secondary character is Seivarden the officer.

Storyline/Plot : the plot of the story is about an opera in space which is set thousands of years into the future. in which the expansionist Radch kingdom is the dominant interstellar force of human-occupied worlds. The empire hires AIcontrolled spacecrafts as well as human bodies ("ancillaries") that serve as soldiers, however normal humans also serve as soldiers. The conclusion is that there is a resolution when minaais ship is destroyed. The plot starts some years after the Justice of Toren, a Radch starship, disappeared, when Breq, the only survivor ancillary (and remnant of the Justice of Torren’s consciousness), meets an officer named Seivarden, who was a lieutenant on the Justice of Toren 1,000 years ago. They're on an icy world, and Seivarden's survival is in peril. Breq's search for revenge for the Justice of Torren’s devastation transitions with memories from 19 years ago, when the Justice of Torren was in orbit across Shis'urna, that was being officially accepted into the Radchaai kingdom.

Genre : the book exemplifies a science fiction genre because of its nature of being into the future about empires being created out in space where artificial intelligence is taking over normal human beings. I do believe It is a multigenre book because the novel has a lot of adventure and drama

Yours and the hosts’ impressions of the book

: I have read a short glimpse of this book however I believe it is too fake for me to like. Personally, when I read books, I enjoy reading content that is realistic and not something where its robots and AI fighting humans. This book is the definition of an unrealistic book. I find that type of stuff very boring however to some people that stuff is great entertainment, and they

would love reading this book. I was into these types of books when I was younger. Sci fi was one of my favourite types of books and tv shows. However, as I grow older, I realise that real life is way more interesting. For example, learning about the past wars like world war 2 is far more interesting and beneficial than reading sci fi books like this where you cannot gain any intellectual benefit from it. It is simply just a means of wasting time for entertainment purposes. Books about the past present or books that are based on a true story are beneficial because you learn something from it and gain knowledge. Reading material like

Readalikes : the host recommends the book blue mars which is about space colonization and is similar to ancillary justice because the setting of the books are both settled into to future and humans are alongside AI , robots and aliens creating their own kingdoms into the depths of the galaxy
