"Thank you for being a part of Transform UD" My name is Justin Wolfe, I am a Business Marketing Major here at the university and I am here to talk to you about personal health management that can be applied to maximize your life at any level. ‘Healthy living’ means maintaining a healthy lifestyle and introducing habits that improve your health. It can be difficult to change old habits, but there are steps you can take to become healthier. An important first step is identifying less healthy habits and learning new, positive ones to replace them, such as: (Watching what you eat and drink)

(sleeping well and managing stress)

(practicing safe

sex, drinking alcohol responsibly and not abusing drugs) (being physically active)

(staying connected with others)

(being aware of any health

risks related to your illness and its treatment,) (working with your doctor to monitor these and then take action)

overall health including having regular check-ups for your eyes and teeth.) ( I know all you…) Want to feel better and improve your health? Start by focusing on the things that bring you happiness. Scientific evidence suggests that positive emotions can help make life longer and healthier.Lowering your stress levels over a period of years with a positive outlook and relaxation techniques could reduce your risk of health problems.

Taking this class this semester has gotten me to look into my lifestyle choices, evaluate, and work on changing them. In the beginning of the semester I was getting 4 hours of sleep, sleeping through classes, eating only takeout and fast food and barely exercising while drinking way too much. WHen given the weekly health journal it really puts things back into perspective. I was now forced to become aware and in turn created me to want to achieve goals to benefit not only me but my body as well. With work slow achievable goals and consistency after 10 weeks I had lost weight, been getting a full 6-8 hours of sleep per night and have inspired myself and my roommates to start cooking healthy meals everyday. Overall, I feel amazing, energetic in the morning (which is something that has never happened before) and i am saving a lot of money by always cooking healthy home cooked meals instead of ordering food 2 times a day. Ideally my hopes for Americas future health would be a cure for chronic diseases, obesity levels down and leadership levels up. The best america, in my mind would be one that is stress free

happy, and everyone is the best person they can possibly be, and it all starts with making healthy decisions. As one of my favorite quotes says, “Health is better than wealth” once people prioritize themselves over materialistic values they will find their best way to live. "Transformation is possible!
