THE SELFISH GIANT Who are the characters of the story? The characters of the story are/ were the giant, children, the little boy and the cornish the ogre the giant’s friend. How was the giant? why? The giant was selfish. because he didn’t allow to play the children in his garden. Where ARE/WERE they? they are in the castle’s garden they were in the castle’s garden when does the story take place? the story take places in the past, because the giant lived in the castle or because the giant was already dead. what’s the weather like? First the season was spring, so it was sunny, nice and warm. when the children left the garden, it became into a cold and snowy garden. At the end of the story it was as spring again. What was the problem? when the giant return to his castle, he found children playing in his garden. What happened after that? The giant had left out children of his garden and he built a high wall all around the garden and put up a notice boards “trespassers will be prosecuted”. what was the most surprising event? the must surprising event was when the children left the garden, it became frost and snow, while outside it was spring. Other situation is that the giant helping the little boy. He took him in his hand and put him up into the tree. they found the giant lying dead under children. the tree all covered with white blossoms what is your opinion? I think that people can change when feel was love as the giant, How did the story end? The story ended when giant found children playing in the garden and in the garden became spring, because of that giant stopped being selfish. Then children found giant dead.
