The garden was large and lovely, with a soft green grass. It had flowers and peach-trees and birds sang a lot. 8) What happened when the giant arrived and saw the children in his garden? He was angry and ran the boys out of his garden. Besides he forbade them to return. 9) Why did the autumn never give fruits in the Giant’s garden?
