Objetivos •

Aplicar el método Weibull para analizar los datos



Calcular los valores máximos de la velocidad del viento entre las ciudades de Neiva y Santa María para determinar la viabilidad del uso de turbinas eólicas para generar energía.



Ampliar el uso de Excel y r studio como herramientas de análisis estadístico.



Identificar la velocidad promedio de Neiva y Santa María.

El grupo debe seleccionar 2 departamentos o ciudades y realizar, para cada departamento o ciudad, un histograma de las variables velocidad del viento y temperatura. ¿Cuál ciudad o departamento presenta mayor variabilidad? Es necesario justificar la selección de los lugares escogidos. También es necesario justificar por qué escogieron departamentos o ciudades.

Se ha seleccionado el departamento del Huila, tomando la población de datos correspondientes a la ciudad de Santa María y Neiva.

Se seleccionaron por tener conocimiento de causa de cada uno de los municipios, y así poder analizar de forma estadística los datos colectados de los fenómenos atmosféricos. En términos generales, es menor la cantidad de información de ciudades ya que al tratar de analizar departamentos tienen mayor cantidad de datos. 2

Para cada ciudad o departamento, calcular los parámetros 𝑘 y 𝑐 de la distribución de Weibull; para hacer estos cálculos use las ecuaciones 3 y 4 descritas arriba y sustituya los valores obtenidos en la función de densidad de probabilidad, 𝑓(𝑣) (ecuación 1).
