Greetings:  Hi John,  Hello John,  Dear John, Notice how «hi» is less formal than «hello» or «dear». Moreover, don’t forget to write a comma (,) after greeting your friend or relative. Opening paragraph:  Thanks a lot for writing!  Thank you very much for your email.   

With many connectors, we typically use a comma (,) after it when we start a sentence (However, Moreover). Closing paragraph:  Well, it’s time to say goodbye.  Well, it’s time to go.  Anyway, I have to go now.  I really hope to hear from you soon.  I hope you write back soon. Saying goodbye:     

Notice how there is a comma (,) after each of the phrases. Moreover, after writing any of these sentences, make sure you write your name on a different line. And write your name without a full stop!

GRAMMAR Frequency adverbs Read these sentences. Where is the frequency adverb? Circle them. And the verb? Underline them. Can you find similarities? (Page 102 English File. 6.16).
