A. Business Decisions 1. Compensation Packages for Employees Paying our employees fairly and offering benefits packages that will help them live comfortably in the community.

2. Investing and Risking Profits for Growth We put a large amount of money back into the business in Q4 after having a profitable Q3 that paid dividends to our shareholders.

A1. Ethical Implications of Above Decisions 1. Compensation Packages for Employees Starting in a, middle of the road, geographical and economical location like Amsterdam, we were able to hire employees at a very reasonable and competitive pay scale. When we decided to open in NYC we knew we would need to raise our wages to meet the needs of the employees in that market. NYC cost of living is significantly higher than Amsterdam’s. The Rights and Well-being of Workers is a top priority when building our brand. The happiness of employees raises their willingness to help grow a profitable company.

2. Investing and Risking Profits for Growth Being in Compliance with Laws, Regulations, and Reporting Requirements requires being honest and open with shareholders about how the business is doing. Reporting must be transparent, all income and expenses disclosed. Projections on growth and payment dividends, with deadlines for repayment of any loans, to investors should be stated upfront. We knew we would be receiving a considerable amount of common stock this quarter and wanted to grow the business and our product line. Knowing this was a risky decision as we may not make a profit to pay our shareholders this quarter, we made sure to disclose this information and show the projections for the next two quarters. The projected growth from this investment should pay out in Q6 if our products had the enhancements and specs required by our consumers. Breaking down the expenditures and how they will benefit the company down the road is a great way to build confidence with your investors.
