3.This organization wants to make the following changes and represents:

Immigration Watch Canada is an organization of Canadians who wish to limit the number of immigrants to 25, 000 annually. They believe that immigration has to benefit only its own citizens.

The OCASI is an organization that wishes to establish immigration status for immigrants whose citizenship status is still pending. They also wish to give access to resources and benefits to every person in Canada regardless of their immigration status in Canada.

-Net cost for imagration to Canada: Up to $35 Billion per year about 10 years ago. The amount is now at least $40 billion per year. How many homeless could Canada take off our streets with that $40 Billion? The lower figure ($35 Billion) amounts to $95,890,000 per day. - 27,530 people have entered Canada illegally claiming themselves as refugees. -By 2018, The international Mobility Program was accepting more than 250,000 foreigners and according to two Canadain economist, most Canadains are unaware of this program and employees are widely abusing it.

The IWC referenced The Science Council and said that it stated that Canada should limit its immigration intake and stabilize its population.

-81.3% of immigrants hold down a full-time job which is slightly higher than non-immigrants (79.7%) -The number of temporary migrant workers in Canada has more than quadrupled since 2000. As of 2014, there were 567,977 temporary status workers in the country.

-The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Article 14) states that everyone has the right to seek asylum in other countries from persecution and hardship.

The Conference Board of Canada says that attracting new Canadians is needed because Immigration is more important to Canada's prosperity than ever before due to the country's rapidly aging population and low birth rate.

What I found interesting is that this organization believes that the 10-year visa program is a national scandal.

The organization is challenging this misinformation campaign that wants to divide Canada into sections as immigrants and non-immigrants. Challenging this misinformation issue is key to Canadian democracy.

8.An action that the stakeholder group has taken to try and influence people or be persuasive and how:

They have held many protest throughout BC in 2014, 6 members from IWC held an anti immagration protest that drew a lot of attention

They have held many campaigns for refugees and immigrants and are responsible for a number of projects including settlement.org which is a company dedicated to help immigrants.

9.Something that was confusing or unclear to me OR I have a question about: No one is an expert you need to fill this area in.

I don't understand why they are so against immagration when even Jacques Cartier was an immigrant.

Do they have immigrant workers in their organization, if so how much.
