Effective Communication

Effective communication is a very effective way to engage the person's attention or make a personal connection throughout the story you are telling. In the beginning of the Ted Talk “The Art of Effective Communication” by Marcus Alexander Velazquez. The speaker asks the three questions to share the audience information about what the speaker will talk about. He compares communication and effective communication. Therefore, communication is just sending information without making it clear for us that we might have misunderstood the message. If the audience can’t gather the information which shows it is unsuccessful communication and can lead to wasting of time, mislead emotions and causing misunderstanding. There are many different ways to make very effective communication by being a good listener, body language to show the speaker, and choosing the right information for the listener. Being a good listener can give the speaker the point of view of the story. Otherwise, it helps to demonstrate that you give full attention with care towards others opinion or their story. Especially body language can show the non-verbal allow speaker to build a connection, confident to trust and being a positive human being. In other ways, bad body language can distract your audience, ignoring the speaker, or using the negative tone will take away the message to the audience. Sometimes the tone can change the conversation or affect the audience feeling there are not many interesting facts in the story or too much useless information than the important message that gets their attention. Simply, the speaker should plan out or rephrase what words, emotions or stories to attract the audience and reach effective communication. In the end, the speaker's actions will have a great effect to promote the truthful person or their source of information across the audience....
