Topic: Disney and Disneyland General Purpose: To inform the audience about Disney and Disneyland Specific Purpose: Cognitive and Topical, to entertain the audience and also inform them. Central Idea/Thesis: I want to describe Disney and what its done as a business, and also how its made Disneyland into a rapidly growing theme park.

INTRODUCTION: I. Attention capture: “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever” -Walt Disney II. Reason to listen: Even if some of you have never been or have only been once or twice, Disney is a business that majority of us have encountered at least once in our life. III. Establish credibility: Disneyland has always been my happy place, and being an annual pass holder for the theme park, being so invested in Disney became a hobby. IV. Preview: Today I will be informing you guys about Walt Disney, How he created Disney, Then the invention of Disneyland, and where Disney and Disneyland is at today. V. Transition: Disney and Disneyland wouldn't be anything if it was not for its creator, Walt Disney.

Sub-Subpoint: Disneyland is constantly expanding and the park will never be finished. In additon to Disneyland, Disney also expanded its parks to 4 more. 3. Transition to Conclusion: Today Disneyland has 58 attractions, and currently just celebrated their 60 year anniversary of the park. CONCLUSION: (use complete sentences) I.
