Description

1.

My name is Gina and I´m 20 years old. My family and I have a beautiful home and I want to tell you everything about it.

2.

We live in Toronto, the capital of the province of Ontario. Toronto is a metropolis with a core of soaring skyscrapers, can you believe it? My house is located in a calm but friendly neighborhood. There are three bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchen.

In my bedroom, there is one bed, some bookshelves, a desk and a swivel chair. There is everything you need to study. My sister has her own bedroom, and it is very similar.

Our bathroom is really nice, because it is big and there is a bathtub and a shower. My father usually takes a shower to relax after work.

5.

I think our living room is the best place in the house. It has one big sofa, a table and a big television. My sister likes to read there, but at night all my family watches TV. We always have good times in the living room.

My home is not perfect but we love it. It is a small place in Toronto and when I´m away I always remember this phrase “home is there the heart is.”

Think carefully about your dream house and use the first

Your house will have 5 rooms, for example: bedroom,

living room, bathroom, kitchen, basement, study, laundry room, guest room, attic. Illustrate each room with a real photo or a drawing. In other words, make things visual, rather than using paragraphs. 



Explain what country and city your house is, its size and how many rooms it has. Give a detailed explanation of each room of the house, you must use least use 9 sentences with there is/are, some/any, prepositions of place . Include 9 vocabulary terms for each room.



Moreover, explain at least 5 changes the house has had by using there was/there were, e.g., 2 years ago there were only two bedrooms, now there are three bedrooms.



Finally, give your own answer for this question “what´s the difference between house and home?”


